PressmeddelandeGöteborg den 19 oktober 2009Fingerprint Cards företrädesemission övertecknad • Fingerprint Cards AB (publ) (”Fingerprint Cards”) tillförs 49,6 Mkr, före emissions- och garantikostnader • Antalet utestående aktier kommer att öka till 39 669 586 från 19 834 793, fördelat på 1 200 000 aktier av serie A och 38 469 586 aktier av serie B Nyemissionen tecknades till 173 procent, varav 96 procent med stöd av teckningsrätter samt 77 procent utan stöd av teckningsrätter. Fingerprint tillförs cirka 49,6 Mkr före emissions- och garantikostnader. Genom nyemissionen som genomfördes med företrädesrätt för befintliga aktieägare ökar antalet aktier med 19 834 793 aktier varav 600 000 aktier av serie A och 19 234 793 aktier av serie B. Aktiens kvotvärde uppgår till 0,20 kr. Aktiekapitalet kommer efter emissionen att öka med 3 966 958,60 kr till 7 933 917,20 kr. Totalt antal utestående aktier efter att emissionen har registrerats hos Bolagsverket kommer att uppgå till 39 669 586 aktier, fördelat på 1 200 000 aktier av serie A och 38 469 586 aktier av serie B. - Det är ett stort förtroende aktieägarna visar Fingerprint Cards genom denna emission. Fingerprint Cards receives initial order from South Korea for smart card solution
Fingerprint Cards’ distributor in South Korea, Camos Tech Co., Ltd. (CamosTech) have placed an order in excess of 0,5 MSEK for a pilot series of smart cards with integrated fingerprint technology. The order concerns wafers with the Company´s fingerprint sensor FPC1011. Deliveries are planned for the third quarter of 2009. The order is aimed for a pilot series of more than 10 000 innovative smart cards with a complete biometric system integrated. To protect the card owners biometric data from identity theft, the complete biometric verification is done inside the card as well as the storage of the fingerprint data. The order concerns the Company´s latest fingerprint sensor design FPC1011F and deliveries are planned for 2009 and 2010. This order initiates a market for a new product segment with an exciting volume potential. With the order, the Company expands its market share in one of the fastest growing biometric markets, China.
